Rear filll questions

After getting robbed back in November, i'm getting back into car audio. Luckily the only things they took were the amps, but now i've been driving with just the rear stock 6x9 speakers but one went out so I was thinking of replacing them with some tang band midbasses. Opinions/worth it? Would it fill the area between my comps and sub? Would it be alright to free air it or does it need an enclosure?

My equipment is in my sig. but don't know yet what amps to buy. Still saving up. I have a 2 door blazer.
