Infinity amps any good?

Will this power a 12" JL W7 well or what my friend has it for $100 and I just want to check Model: REF611A Infinity - Reference Series 761W Amplifier??

They are decent amps..

I know they do rated power, and sound decent. The 4-channel versions have some good eq settings. however, I have heard that they get hot, but thats true with just about any amp.
