Big Three?

Hey i have been reading through the forum and i was just wondering if someone could give me a better description of "the big three" so far all of them have been pretty vague and confusing.

I was told if i run a rockford fosgate t20001bd with 2x Kinetic Hc 600 power cells in addition to my car battery i would need to set up the big three. Also would the 2 power cells prevent any damage that could be done to my altinator.. basically will the power cells keep my lights from dimming when the bass hits at night???

theres 3 main wires under your hood from readin you should already know what 3 they are re run them with 0 gauge wire and no get a new alt instead of 2 extra batteries
