infinite baffling in rear deck

well, I'm getting tired of having my trunk filled up with box, and I think I want to reinforce my rear deck with MDF, cut a double baffle, and mount my 2 W15GTi's up there, but I'm unsure how it would sound and how efficient it would be.

It'd be alot like a 6x9, just with a 15 inch sub rather than a 6x9.

well, there are only certain drivers that are capeable for IB installation. and i dont think the w15gti is one of them. one of the tellers is a Qts under .35 - and i dont believe that driver fits that charasteristic.

there is a lot you could do, but putting those up there might not be it.

ive seen w7s mounted in the rear deck of a 7series bmw.

I saw/heard a IB setup with 12's GTi's & sounded outstanding

I thought a really high qts was key for IB, but I could be wrong as I've never done it.

There are as many opinions as to what makes a good IB sub as there are subs. In most cases you can't just look at the Qts and know anything, there's a lot more to it than that.

What car has a big enough rear deck that will house a 15"? Thats gotta be a huge rear deck!

I think most cars could do it easliy. Be a tight fit, but possible.

it doesnt have to be in the rear deck, you could make a baffle of 3/4 mdf and seal it up behind the back seat, or build a manifold and port it into the rear deck.

^^indeed but the way he stated it i would assume he means for it to be in the rear deck
