indash screen solutions

hey guys, i'm currently in the process of building a carputer..and can't really decide on what to do for a monitor. i was originally thinking i wanted a lilliput 629, which is just a 7" touchscreen that would chill in my dash..but that would leave no room for my CD7000 anywhere close by (no center console, etc..), so i took this into consideration:

does anybody have any personal experience with these moniters? it'd be much easier for me if i could just put that on top and the cd7000 right below it..but then again with the extra $ spent on that unit over the 629 i could get a decent sound card for the comp and ditch the cd7000. any input? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

From what i have heard about those are that the flip out motors burn out after a few months, its best to just go with a touchscreen double din instead of fip out. Xenarc over liiliput though.

apparently they fixed it on the newer version of that lillyput //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif i dunno though, i still probably wouldn't trust it..

i just realized if i don't use the flipout, i'll be selling my CD7000 and 8445, so i'll have plenty extra for a nice soundcard with decent processing.

not sure if i'm going to go with a xenarc yet, lilliputs seem pretty solid (except for glare, but my tint will be pretty dark..)..and xenarcs are more expensive, so i dunno. might take my chances w/ a warranty
