i just put a set in for my friend...midbass is good,the mid-range is good,and the tweeter isnt bright at all they sound really good to me anyway for the money. ive owned boston pro60SE, and a set hybrid audio clarus i would put the IA in the middle of the two. just my opinion

i never use an EQ at all but i had to with this set to boost the tweeters a little bit. but they still sound good just laid back
