Pedals, sprockets and a chain...

Big thigh muscles would help too...

Chaging out your stock air filter

Using Mid grade gas

Keep the oil clean and changed

Heathly plugs and wires (basically a tune up)

If you drive a manual, coast when you can, never floor it. Ride the next highest gear than you need. (this takes practice bc it can also do the reverese)

*I ride with the AC on, this has helped me gain more MPG* vice rolling down the windows...I did an expirement and tried out both Windows up/down and Gas for about a month. I got considerably more MPG w/ mid grade gas, and AC on. But I drive an IS300, so what do I know?

Guaranteed to increase fuel milage:

Change your driving habits

Change to full synthetic oil

Increase your tire pressure by 10%

Remove excess weight
X2, especially with your driving habits.

As far as mid grade or premium grade gas goes that really just depends on wht type of motor or tuning you have. Most vehicles wont run any better on it if not loose performance. And if not you still have to factor in the extra cost of the higher grade which wont offset it either. I do run mid grade but that is becuase it is recommended for what I drive

Telling me to sticky this when you obviously didn't search ... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif This topic has been covered several dozen times ...
Upgrading the intake may or may not increase fuel economy as allowing more air to pass by the mass airflow sensor will also increase the amount of fuel injected into the throttle body. However, the increased power may mean you won't need as much throttle input to achieve equal acceleration.

X2 with the driving habits, i can make a tank of gas last either 4 days or 2 weeks depending on how i drive, unfortunately im having an i-like-to-drive-fast week //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif
