in the market for a new amp

I know sonics has non cea-2006 amps that may be of good quality but I don't know which brands they are. Maybe you guys can help....

2 crappy radio shack subs 150wrms each. lololol

I'm going to get new subs later. But for now, it's time for a better amp. One that will be powerful enough at 4ohms to blow those radio shacks right through the trunk. Hifonics BRZ line or the audiopipe minis like apsm 1500 $135 i think or the apsm 2000 for $180

Well if they are two 4 ohm subs u can wire at two ohms. If I was you id get the Hifonics brz2400 and when you upgrade you will be set but you will blow those subs in probably less than a week.

they are 8ohm each.

The BRZ2400 is 274 a little more but will be perfect for you... But you will need after you turn the gain past 25 30% to get a 2nd battery.
