whats wrong with engine mods to a luxury sedan? Its stealth, and you can't see it from the outside. Most VIP cars have a hudge lip on the rim. Can a VIP car, do without lip rims? Yes if you know which brand to choose from. Note im only categoring cars that are Q45, M45, ls4, ls430, ls460, gs300-430. Not the cars that are vip styled. Only the original vip chassis.

Well I've driven on them for about 2,500 miles, no issues....so when's this supposed to happen?
So that 2500 miles proves your tires are less safe than the designers intended by seating them properly? First, tires are meant to get way more than 2500 miles, come back when they have tends of thousands of miles on them. And second, for all you or I know, you've been lucky so far. Virtually every person with unsafe mods on their vehicles think they are the exception to the rule, some how special, or extra safe drivers... until that one fateful day their luck changes. Again, I see a lot of narcissism in your attitude.

They're run flats....
No, but in all seriousness, I await for you to tell me when and what exactly will happen. I never did state this was safe. I did say that other setups with aggressive offsets and stretched tires are still safe.

Although mine is not as safe as some of those, I have not had any issues for the couple thousand miles I've driven on them. I even posted a picture of tire wear and it was not all that bad.

Only thing that can be done is check tire pressure. And I haven't had any issues with that either. I'm sure if something were to happen, it would have already.
For someone who portrays themselves as extremely educated in these types of mods, you sure dance around the fact that your car has a lot less tread contact with the pavement than the designers ever intended. I suppose you think cops hand out tickets for excessive tire camber just because they think it looks dumb? Not to mention, in the case of an emergency hard cornering situation, your tires are much more likely to unseat themselves and turn a bad situation worse. Yes, that is unsafe to you, and others on the road around you. Im not preaching, because the craze of loud car audio systems could be argued to create a similar situation, we are all guilty of this to some degree or another... but you did ask, and you do deny. Self awareness is not your forte.

You havent really thought this through, have you... You are going to remove the tires from the wheels, and have them re-mounted and re-balanced after you have worn one side of the tread down? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

You are crazy, camber does not define aggressiveness... That is a ricer way of thinking, that only one aspect defines what is or is not affressive. The car is low, has a nice stance, the tires are where they are supposed to be, how is that not aggressive?
I haven't thought it through? You're kidding me right? You know that people with camber like mine do that often right? Apparently not.

And I said the STANCE is not aggressive, did you not read or do you read what you please?

More proof you just didnt have the money to do it right the first time... Why waste the money on a set of coilovers if your ultimate goal is to be bagged? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

You do know that there are several cars that have the VIP thing going on ride on coilovers lower than me....there's even some people that DON'T do the VIP thing without coilovers and are lower than I am.

And you obviously don't know much about air bags, because with a UAS air bag setup, you can use almost any coilover as the shock for better performance, just as long as the outer diameter is 2.14" or less.

And do you know how much bags cost? The setup will be 3,500. Working part time I'm not going to throw it all on my credit card and pay it off, I pay up front or at least 2/3 of it up front. You really think someone modifies their car in one session? Get real. Now you exemplified your pure stupidity.

I can remain on coils if I want to, only reason why I want air bags is so that I can get into ANYWHERE I please. Till then I'll ride on coilovers and just live with the hassles, like parking further.

And so is anyone that drives over 5mph over the speed limit, you never know what can happen..that extra 5mph can be harmful to other motorists. So what's your point? You can have a completely OEM vehicle, nothing changed, but if you're speeding, that is also endangering other motorists as you state....yet people still do it.
Yes, great logic. People speed, so why not mod your car in a manner that diminishes safety anyway. My grandmother doesnt speed, ever... do you make sure you avoid non-speeders? Do you NEVER speed to make up for your mods in your mind? Do you not drive on wet pavement or get into a situation where you will never need to make an emergency hard brake or corner? Your logic on speeders again shows your immaturity. You have to justify your unsafe car mod by naming something else others do. Its like the child who gets caught stealing, and says "but Bobby does it too!"

Are you doing this on purpose? I mean, even the dumbest soul on Planet Rice can't be this clueless. Does "handles just fine" point to a lack of a functioning suspension? Remember, you get stuck going up a driveway, because there's no compliance in the setup. Do you have any frucking idea what it means to corner "pretty quick?" That atrocity would break loose in an instant. Really, even after this whole thread I'm astonished by some of the crap you post.
You really should see where the car's limits lie before you hurt someone. I'm sure that SCCA offers introductory auto-x classes in your area. It's a fantastic opportunity to test out the car and its driver. Do the entire population a favor and look into it. You'll also get to see what it means to corner "pretty quick" and I guarantee that it's not what you think.
By pretty quick I meant I can take a the car say at an offramp or some curve around 25-35 mph faster than the speed posted, and of course I don't take it that fast on the first try.

Can you PLEASE tell me why I should care about how spirited I drive if that's NOT the way I drive or the purpose? I'm not going to track the car or anything. Under daily driving conditions the car handles perfectly fine. But you wouldn't know that because you haven't driven in it. You can only assume.

You didnt read what I said very closely, did you. Or, just another attempt to bother me. At least I shamed you into dropping the 'moron redneck' comments from your remarks aimed towards me. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
Maybe you are a redneck, who knows.

I realize I have less contact patch...so fucking what? The car drive doesn't it? You guys swear you know everything...then you make comments such as the one italicized out of nowhere...straight up troll mode eh?

How the hell does my logic about speeding show immaturity. I don't think you realize what you're even talking about, your just speaking out your ***.

i must see a picture of you, you HAVE to be a female. if not, you leave me speechless my friend and thats no easy task

This thread is never going to end it seems. I'm not gonna let someone talk acting like they know what they're saying....and others are going to continue bickering how they don't like it, how it's unsafe, etc...and going OT about it. I guess it really bothers you fellas that you must cry about it.

And hoss, or whoever it was that said they believe I live in Houston and the roads are shitty, etc.... read the upper right portion of each of my posts...it says my location is LOS ANGELES, CA....are you blind or just stupid?

It's hopeless. At least humanity can remain at rest knowing you won't have a chance to breed.
