im pretty sure supras are rwd, not fwdWhat's the point of having such a wide rim? Usually someone gets a wider rim to fit a wider tire. They want a wider tire for a better contact patch on the road. This however is the absolute opposite. You get a wider rim, stretch the tire, and screw the alignment up so that there is less contact patch on the road. It looks like shit with an inch of bare rim sticking out the side of the car. The car looks broken down with the rims leaning in 15* too much. It's got to ride & handle like shit and no way those tires last past 3k miles. This is the absolute most retarded new fad that I've seen. Freaking dumbazz ricers fukcing up a good car.
Is this stupid shit making a comeback? I remember when this was the thing to do back in the 90s. Rwd rims on a fwd car sticking half way out the side of the car.

I'm not arguing that it won't wear unevenly, it will...and that's when I flip them.Well, traction issues from the camber, sidewall failures from the stretch. Stretched tires are considered unsafe because of what they do to the sidewall, and the fact that you can break the bead so easily on them. Having a blow out at highway speeds can easily cause loss of control, and with your camber, if you did have a blow out at speed, you would be pretty in for a good fight to maintain control of your car. Just because you havent had issues yet does not mean that you wont. You are at less than 3k miles, I am guessing you have had teh car in this state for about a month, give it a few more months. And IIRC you are from Houston? Houston roads are horrifically constructed, full of bups, holes, cracks, mexicans... Those low profile super stretched sidewalls are no match for daily driving over rough surfaces.
Check your tread wear after about 10k miles and tell me if it is wearing evenly... 2,500 miles is not much for the tires, give them time for the abuse you are giving them to take their toll. And yes, what you have done is abuse, as they are not being used in the manner in which the manufacturer intended.
That's my buddy's...he's also on the "team". He actually has more of a stretch now, but since he has Volks, the lip on those wheels curve inward so it's still not noticeable. There should be some rolling shots with those pics...look beautiful...should be with a dark blue G37 coupe as well...which is now on bags with different wheels.Or this:

That G37 does look good, but it's not aggressive (the stance at least). The vehicle itself, yes, because of the bumper. Both of those coupes that were posted are hotness. The G37 is pretty slick, slammed down with nice flat stance. Still looks agressive, and I believe those are stock wheels. Yes, it can be done. I like the way the intercooler looks like a continuation of the grill.
The z33 platform infiniti looks sweet too. Rubber tucked, wheel fitment is right where it should be, and again, the camber isnt way off. Clean, subtle, nice.
Why not just not post if it bothers you so much to read what I write? Nobody said you have to respond. And ban me for what, posting pictures, having a debate? I see that goin on quite a bit here. Might as well ban everyone else. Think before you type.delete thread and permanently ban OP? If we wanted bitching and naggers here (like yourself), we would invite some hot women feggot. keep arguing your useless point though.........THEN PLEASE END YOUR EXISTENCE. no reason for someone like yourself to even be on this earth because somehow youre always right. The day will come when that shit will catch up to you
In the near future I will. I would have right now but the wheels wouldn't clear, but when I extend my fenders there won't be issues with that. The car handles just fine though, but no spirited driving for me. I can still take corners pretty quick, but not as much as when I was running about -3.5 degrees of camber. I had a full load of people in my car yesterday and the wheels were pretty much barely tucking into the fender, looked so bad ass...makes me want to have bags already so I can drive like that and pop the car up witha flip of a switch when I come to a speed bump or driveway.Thats pretty stupid IMO,I'm sure it doesnt handle that great and no way u can even consider spirited driving in that car.I understand a little camber and stretched tires,I like the stretched tire look, hell I even did the same thing but that camber has got to hurt the car overall.I could almost understand that camber if you were fully bagged and when u lift to ride height you would loose some camber but you cannot adjust that camber at the flick of a switch or press of a button.
You havent really thought this through, have you... You are going to remove the tires from the wheels, and have them re-mounted and re-balanced after you have worn one side of the tread down? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gifI'm not arguing that it won't wear unevenly, it will...and that's when I flip them.
You are crazy, camber does not define aggressiveness... That is a ricer way of thinking, that only one aspect defines what is or is not affressive. The car is low, has a nice stance, the tires are where they are supposed to be, how is that not aggressive? That G37 does look good, but it's not aggressive (the stance at least). The vehicle itself, yes, because of the bumper.
More proof you just didnt have the money to do it right the first time... Why waste the money on a set of coilovers if your ultimate goal is to be bagged? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gifIn the near future I will. I agree 100% with this person. Thats a true definition of rice! For those that think VIP cars are rice, how else are you going to mod a luxury car? Most of the VIP parts are imported from Japan. And don't let me get started on ridiculous cars with 22-24" wheels that are all chrome. It doesn't even belong in the catergory of rice rofl!!!! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gifNo, i see rice all the time, if you own a import your automatically called a ricer because there are tons of retards driving civics with welded on mufflers, chrome tail lights, neon lighting, huge wings, stickers of brand names that they dont even have.
I hate ricers as much as you!
Are you doing this on purpose? I mean, even the dumbest soul on Planet Rice can't be this clueless. Does "handles just fine" point to a lack of a functioning suspension? Remember, you get stuck going up a driveway, because there's no compliance in the setup. Do you have any frucking idea what it means to corner "pretty quick?" That atrocity would break loose in an instant. Really, even after this whole thread I'm astonished by some of the crap you post. The car handles just fine though, but no spirited driving for me. I can still take corners pretty quick, but not as much as when I was running about -3.5 degrees of camber.
By doing things tastefully and correctly, and not putting a bunch of retarded performance oriented modifications on a luxury sedan... It can be done without retardedly extreme tire stretching and rediculously wild camber. For those that think VIP cars are rice, how else are you going to mod a luxury car?
You didnt read what I said very closely, did you. Or, just another attempt to bother me. At least I shamed you into dropping the 'moron redneck' comments from your remarks aimed towards me. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gifAm I really getting under your skin? That was never my intent. If I am, you must have some thin skin.
