I ran into my first problem today //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gifidk , its been goin on for some time. the op car is still moving right? all these pics of what will or can happen does make me think the op MIGHT have a issue some time down the road. It is up to him as far as what he does with his money and his car.For my self i dont like it , im more in to big white girls though. in for pics of *****,show me somthing worth lookin at yo.
Not really, ha!Bump
OP, someday down the line you'll wanna buy a house, and instead of borrowing $200,000, you're gonna have to borrow $220,000. And, then you're gonna see those pictures again of your Supercamber VIP and cry out, "D@mn, I shoulda listened to that dr_peeb back in '09. He was on time. I wasted like 20 grands modifyin' my awesome G35, and goodgawd look how dumb it looked. What was I thinkin'? Not only that, but that 20 grands I wasted coulda been sittin' in a money market account earnin' at least a lil bit o' interest, not much but sumphin' anyway. So I lost that interest, too. And, the extra cost of me borrowin' 20 extra grands for the next 30 years is gonna cost me a friggin' mint, too. D@mn that dr_peeb was right and I shoulda listened. Oh, well, it's off to work I go. To my sh!tty job I hate."
Hahaha! Love, dr_peeb
Not really. Not sure if I posted pics after I got the car cambered some more in the front and put on the 15mm spacers, but here's a couple pics (more recent ones in case I did post some).so any new updates, i am ever so close to ordering my new rims, rolling on jack stands ftl
drift cars do run some pretty low offsets, Offset has nothing to do with it
cambered about 2-3 degrees in the rearYou arent going to be able to tell camber degrees by eye, ever.
No one has doubted that they are low, but the ones that know what they are doing dont put them so low that the suspension is completely or mostly negated. Bottom out while you are drifting and you are going to find yourself in a less than ideal situation.and drive real low to the ground.
Very little of what he said made sense, it just fell in line with what you want to believe. I too have been to drift events, down in the press box where I was literally three feet away from cars going sideways. The drift cars I have seen all have had usable suspensions, tires that were suitable for the wheels they were mounted to, and camber that was usable and hardly noticable and not to the extreme side of excess.Loud3 makes perfect sense, I don't see why you don't understand that. If what he was saying isn't true, why is it that it is exactly what I saw? Why is it that all the drifters had their wheel setups that way? There's gotta be some reason behind it, it can't be just for looks.

Although I will agree there is a certain ride height that the vehicle performs better at than others, but those cars probably have much higher spring rates than most cars use when driving, which allows them to have more dampening, less rebound, and the ability to be low.No one has doubted that they are low, but the ones that know what they are doing dont put them so low that the suspension is completely or mostly negated. Calm down, no need to get all wet over this.Aw come on now ... We're on page 61 & you're just now deciding this isn't worth arguing over?
It is!!
