In Progress Pics of New Wheels

The fronts are inverted monotube design. The dampening adjuster is literally resting on the axle boot right now, lol. Its dropped about 3.5 inches from stock.

That's Boso style, ****ing ignorant idiots.

I'll be honest. I'm not a fan of running more than about 2-3 degrees of camber to fit wheels. At that point, the wheels simply don't fit. donpisto's car is not my style. But I can still appreciate the amount of work that went into it and the balls it takes to drive on static suspension.

My car is daily driven //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif
Ah gotcha.... daily driver ftw.... I actually had to drive in the rain today...didn't seem to run into any issues....who again said I would have a problem? I seem to be proving some people wrong. Let's see how long it will take for my tires to wear out.....or even pop //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

You're right though, my wheels don't fit, lol...but i do my best to make em. I know several people that are into the aggressive look but dont like the excessive camber, nothin wrong with that at all.... we all got different opinions.

I don't mind some boso style cars, wouldn't do it myself. The work put into it is quite crazy though.

Your tires WILL wear out with that kind of camber fairly quickly. Is your toe in line? Thats the most important alignment spec. The significance of camber

It was ****ing annoying telling the alignment shop that 2 degrees of camber wasn't going to chew up my tires. I usually have my friend do my alignment, but we couldn't get the car on the rack //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Yep, toe is in spec. I know it'll wear out quicker, but not as quick as some people were saying.

I would probably expect about half the lifespan depending on how extreme it is. Definitely not a few hundred miles //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

Camber specs?

-2.4 in the front (not adjustable till tomorrow) and rear is -7.5
I don't think that rear camber >>> Front camber looks good at all. But again thats just my opinion. I would do a bigger pull if you can and run around 4 degrees in the rear. Five bucks says you get pulled over often //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

me, a hater?

I don't think so, home slice. I hope the OP and any crooked tire lovin' f*cker in the world can own a boat load of crooked wheels if that's what they want.

But I don't have to think it looks cool...

I agree. I think its a well executed vehicle, but not my style.

Maybe this is more your style?

Stretched tires? Of course its required. Loads of camber? Not so much //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
