It's TECHNICALLY a dual chamber bass reflex enclosure....is it a ported box? bandpassbox? what is it explaine please
I can only go 36" wide in the chitbox , but I need space to mount the amps as well . So I'm sticking with dual sealed 12's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifonly 3 cubes net... 38.75" wide
Didn't you have a wicked one at one point, or am I thinking of someone else?I can only go 36" wide in the chitbox , but I need space to mount the amps as well . So I'm sticking with dual sealed 12's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
That's the point //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif Ported, the response of this woofer is has one extreme peak then falls quickly. Sealed, it doesn't have a lot of output.ABC enclosures are pretty overrated. The higher tuning frequency didn't gain me any output but just had better cone control and reduced distortion a little bit. Mine did sound better than the ported enclosure I had that had similar airspace and tuning. It wasn't any louder but sounded better in the upper frequencies. The tuning is also closer to 1.9 times the first tuning frequency. Mine measured with tones to be tuned around 31 and 59
Your build looks pretty nice. I hope it works out better than mine did.
Yeah , still got it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif I had to take it out , it just takes up to much room in the chitbox //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gifDidn't you have a wicked one at one point, or am I thinking of someone else?
