In need of LOW-BUDGET audio equipment...

For sure I need a head unit. MP3 capability is not a must. I just care that it works properly, has working speaker outs, and at least one set of RCAs.

I also need a pair of 6.5" speakers. It doesn't matter if they are coaxials or components. If possible I need a mounting depth of 2.25" or less.

Last on my list is a 4-channel amplifier. Something on the order of 50-75 watts per channel would work just fine. This is more of a down-the-road kind of purchase, but if can find all three and stay within my budget that would rock.

Essentially this is all for my girl's 1998 Honda Civic. She's rawkin all stock and I can't put up with it. I haven't been with her long enough to spend that much on her, so hence my tight budget.

Wow this is crazy. I typed a reply and it's not here!

Basically I've done low-budget installs and had really great luck. I'm looking for stuff that's been sitting around your closet collecting dust for some time. The last system I did like this was a basic Kenwood h/u ($30), CDT Coaxials ($35), Lanzar 55x4 amp ($55), and a Pioneer Premier sub I had laying around.

Those were some really low prices, so I'm aware I might have to spend a bit more. I'm not trying to lowball those who replied to me, and I'm sure your equipment just happens to be worth more than what I am looking to spend.
