What is your price range? $100-$200 just for comps or for both?

Enclosure size?

ported or sealed?

look intoo a W6V2, RLP 12, IDMAX, and im not too sure but look at brahma is budget willing. as far as comps go, i love MB quart but that is cause i have them, but look intoo Peerless, Crystals, ID, Arc, Rainbows, and bostons.

how can u not afford a brahma but can afford an idmax? Idmaxs are getting so hard to come by now. Brahmas go on ebay for like 200-250. In my opinion ive owned all idmax brahma W7's and Rlps. Id go with the RLP. simply because its insanly cheap. They sell for 150 shipepd on the boards. They get rediculously loud in a small low tuned enclosure. And they have almost as good SQ as my idmax did. And you only need like 450 watts to Get enough out of it for musical listening.

IDQ is my suggestion, tiny tiny box and would have enough output for a RSX. The guy said he wanted killer SQ and didn't need a lot of output. No point in dropping $300 on a IDmax or Brahma when he could put the money saved towards better components. The front stage needs a lot of attention if you plan on going the SQ route.

couldn't have set it better my self, and IDQ will do the trick, my boy had 1 12in an integra hatch and it was PLENTY loud and the soundquality was outof this world...i suggest that

Just to add fuel to the fire...

Give the Dayton Audio HO 12 a shot too...probably the BEST bang for the buck sub you can find at 104 dollars (shipping is like 15).

I currently have one in a 1.2 cube sealed box (which is actually a little big for it) running bridged off my LP 2.2hv, so about 6-700 watts rms, and it is surprisingly loud for a single 12 sealed in the trunk of my Passat. The SQ is top notch as well, easily sounds better than my old 15a and 12o did, and gets just as loud.
