ok, i got two 800s pioneer mono amps, and 2 12'' 1000w premiers

i have an alpine deck with a subwoofer preout on the back of it, and when i bought the amps and all that the guy gave me RCAs and two RCA splitters... and told me to split my RCAs coming out of my SW preout and then hook up accordingly into my two amps... well when i did this... the subs were moving pretty nice but there was no air coming out of the port and there was hardly any bass... then when i unplugged the RCAs from one amp so it was just one amp playing one sub there was alot more and better bass, and it was moving alot of air, then i hooked them up again and it didnt work

So then in desperate atempt.. i set my fade on my deck to equal and took to sets of RCAs one coming from the front amp preout and one from the back amp preout (none in the Sub preout), one again with both amps hooked up to both subs it sounded like shit, but with one about hooked up to one sub (unpluggin RCAs from one amp) it sounded good

so then i took both subs and hooked them up to one amp and it sound good again

WTF is wrong please help me

thanks
