I had to send my power acoustik lt1920-2..back to millionbuy...i thought i was going to be getting another one but they are out of them so they are refunding my money. I need your help in getting an amp 200 bucks or lower to power 2 2007 12 inch cvrs.....i know its not a lot of money but i need help.....

Okay - so each sub individually can be wired to 2 Ohms....

Have a look at this amp. You're looking at $170/shipped and that's an eBay seller I have personally dealt with. He's a good dude - you pay? He ships. /story.

It's a Profile - so it's gonna be overrated somewhat - but it is rated for 480/channel @ 2 Ohms so it's real world output ought to be right in line with the 400w RMS rating on your CVRs. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

And there's no "I have to wait until it's in stock" nonsense with him either. If he has it listed then he's got it ready to ship now.

the ap2000 is a great amp it was benched at 933 rms at 4 ohm's bridged so you cant beat that price for a solid amp

x2. Speaking as someone who used to own a CVR, that amount of power from the AP2000 will be perfect for a pair of CVR's.

Which would be an optimal method of setting up a Profile AP2000 and a pair of DVC 4 Ohm CVRs?

Wire the subs together to a nominal 4 Ohm load and bridge the amp or run each sub off of its own channel @ 2 Ohms? Or would there be any freggin difference?!?

is this a good amp? and if so what is the output? is it enuff to power the cvrs?

It's a good amp but it is a refurb.

Coming from HiFiSoundConnection that can be a hit or miss affair and sadly that particular vendor has had more than its fair share of bad press here of late. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

But - assuming it's okay and works as it should expect actual output to exceed its rated 750w and be more in the neighborhood of 800+.
