I am going to run 2 dvc 2ohm power acoustik mofo 12s and im not sure what amp would be good any help from yous would really be appreciated... I know they ain't the best subs but I think they are decent and my budget is about $450

Yeah kinda lol but I've looked around a bit. I don't think you're gonna get 3,000 watts of clean power for $450. Also remember, for that kind of power, you'll need to sink several hundred more dollars into your electrical system.

Yea true im looking for something around 1500 watt rms woud a sundown saz1500 be a good choice or the jbl gto14001

Sundowns are nice but WAY expensive. Worth it imo but there are other ways to make clean power. The JBL looks like a nice choice.

get this, amazing amp puts out rated plus. price finally going down on them. were sitting at 250-275 a piece. and upgrade ur electrical then buy another one. if not then go with the jbl because you need a final load of 2 ohm or .5 ohm.

Yea they are 1500 rms each but if I put more I need to upgrade my electrical and I don't have the money for that rite now so that should be good for now til I save up sum money

Sounds like a plan. Go with the MB quarts like mclerico83 said. Buy one, you'll get 1,000RMS into two ohms (if you wire up both subs) which will be fine for a stock electrical, then upgrade your electrical then buy the second amp. I had no idea the MB's were going for such a great price now.

P.S. there are a lot of MB Quart haters on this forum. You have been warned. I've only heard good things about them from people that actually own them though.

Older Rockford fosgate power 1000BD for $200 shipped. Does about 1300 rms @ 2 ohms. The name Rockford speaks for itself ...it actually isnt a power hog to make it have output
