in line fuse.

im installing a new amp. my old one required a 30 amp inline fuse at the battery, now my new one is requiring a 40 amp. ive been to my local parts stores and the highest ive seen is a 30 amp fuse. (blade fuse) some one suggested using two inline fuses at 20 each, would this work? or do i have to order a 40 amp blade fuse online?

probably want to go to some car audio and order some proper ****...

40A is the biggest blade fuse that i know of. It will work fine. The only think that you "gain" by going with car audio specific stuff is some looks and a lighter wallet.
