In dire need of help! How many amps do I need??

I just started upgrading my whole system. So far I've only figured out which headunit I'm going to get though. I'm planing to use all my factory locations, (two tweeters and two 6 1/2 speakers up front, and two 6 x 9 speakers in the back) as well as eventually add two subwoofers in the back. My question is this, how many amps/channels do I need? I would prefer to put the subs on their own separate amp, so I can upgrade all of that at a later date. Also, I was wanting to run two component systems in the rear factory positions, so in total I have 4 tweeters and 4 speakers. Do I need 2 four channel amps?

You need two amps. One for the subs, and one 4ch for the component speakers. Each component speaker will run off of one channel. The crossovers that come with the speakers will divert the high frequencies to the tweeters, allowing the low and mid frequencies to go to the mid bass speakers.

Thanks a lot. I know it probably seemed like a stupid question, but you just saved me a 50 minute drive back to the audio shop. I appreciate the help!
