why does this happen?

if i were to wire my subs at .5ohms whould it really be like 2 ohms how can i find this out?

impedance rise is caused due to the resonant frequency of the driver... not a big deal, no need to panic

im not panicing i hope i have it so i can run my subs at .5 at local comps and not have to worry about my amp.

Interesting........and decipha said not to worry. Obviously doesnt matter in daily as long as the rise is higher than ur intial load. But for comps it obviously becomes important.......correct?
