impedance question

I have an amp that does 75x4 at 4 ohm or 225x2. It does not state that it is 2 ohm stable bridged. Can I run 2 sets of components for a 2 ohm final load with the amp bridged or will that damage the amp. It would occur to me that the highs would be easier on the amp than running subs. If the amp doesnt like the low ohm load would it at least shut itself down before it gets damaged?

Its actually a memphis belle. Im adding a set of rear speakers. currently the amp is running comps in the doors bridged. If I add speakers and run the amp as a 4 channel I gain 2 speakers but lose LOTS of power. Problem is i need Louder highs in my 03 cobra convertible
