Impedance loads on woofers

Alright I have a question does the impedance load have a direct affect on the life and the structure of the sub itsself. ex.// is it easier on a sub to run it at 2ohms as comparaed to 1ohm??

The reason I ask this is becasue im about to order a new shocker 3 and I can get it today for 310 shipped but its dual 2ohm coils and I was looking for dual 4. OR I can wait till monday and get the dual 4 for 350 shipped. this is going to be ran off of a JBL 1200.1 which is one ohm stable, so either will work. I was just wondering

nope.. its all wire wound on a former..

worry about what your amp can handle..

yeah and with that amp won't make any dif. in wattage put out either.
