Unless they had someone else make em for them, I'm gonna conjecture that it's gonna take forever to get something released. ID's not exactly the quickest with coming out with new stuff, although I do love their products.

well, of course they're gonna tkae long to release something new. In order to release something new, you have to make it better than the old, which would pretty hard for ID to do.

yeah, but i don't think kicker's sound as clean as ID subs do. they might get louder, but sq wise.... not comparable to ID.

If I had to choose from and IDmax and a Solo X... I'd pick the Solo X and sell it to get some IDmax's.

It was a joke about a company only producing better stuff as the years go by. Rather than cheaper junk. I do however totally agree with your last statement.
