I'm trying shrooms tonight.

Well, i could probably write an entire novel based on what i experienced last night. Shrooms tasted like shit, they were dried and it was like i was eating the shell of a sunflower seed. After i took the shrooms me and my buddies went out to the back porch of my garage and lit up the tiki torches and watched a thunderstorm roll in. there was lightning and fireflies so that was pretty sweet. then it started raining where we were at. when it started raining all i could feel was just a body high, no visuals or deep perplexing thought, yet. went into the garage to play some beer pong, i was surprisingly good because usually i **** when im high. it was while i was playing beer pong that the shrooms really started to kick in. i kept laughing... non stop... at everything... it was ridiculous. it got to the point where i couldn't be around people because they just made me laugh. so i decided to go for a walk in the rain around the neighborhood. a buddy of mine came with me and we had a nice talk. i stopped to take a piss and thats when i got my first "visual". that grass looked ****ing crazy! it was like it was in super high def. the water droplets on the grass were glistening from the light given off by the street light. ad the shadows from the trees blowing in the wind and it just made me stop and say "woah....."
anyways... shit got crazier from there but theres no point in typing it all out.

I have never seen things that weren't actually there, which is part of the reason I am comfortable taking shrooms. Unlike stories I have heard about acid. I have a very creative mind and I wouldnt want to be seeing things that arent really there, who knows what I would imagine and I would probably freak out.

Shrooms are amazing when you get some good ones and have a nice trip. Just the colors and images you see are awesome, I love how you can always tell when someone on shrooms is witnessing something move or are seeing colors just by the expression on their face.

well, I know where to go pick them, but I am not a shroom guru and do not want to risk liver failure for picking the wrong ones. My dealers just can't seem to get any hydros right now. Somewhat similar in the sense that you are on a completely different level from anything you have ever felt, but shrooms are much more comforting to me. I can just lay wherever and relax to the fullest and just enjoy myself. I dont like being on X and being all wound up bouncing off the walls. Although lights and stuff are sweet.

X=Energizer Bunny (i.e. you just keep going and going and going)

Shrooms=Dead Weight (i.e. gravity x10) Ive been to the point on mushrooms where I literally could not stand or walk, and have had to stuggle to drag myself around.

You will be fine as long as the caps are not red. Common misconception by people....there are two types of psychodelic(sp?) mushrooms that will have a hallucinagenic effect. However, the other kind have red caps and can be harmful to your body.

As long as you know what they look like and arent an idiot, the only real risk's they pose are all short term effects, i.e. a bad trip, or getting sick.

well, I have read through the entire shrooming section on erowid, and most of the info states that there are many different species of shrooms, such a P. Cubenis, fly agaris (sp?), and many others. It warns that you should not pick shrooms unless you are very familiar with them, as some pose potentially fatal risks.

And everyone always tells me that you want the ones that stain purple or blue???
