I'm thinking about 4 8's...

Alright, I have an F-150. Standard cab. I'm looking to put some subs behind the seat. At first, I thought about getting a pair of 10's because I could fit about a cubic foot per sub back there. But, to do this I'd have to move the seat almost, if not all the way, to the front. Needless to say, this is very uncomfortable.

So then I started thinking about 8's. They require drastically less space than 10's(avg. .4 ft^3 compared to 1 ft^3), and I could easily fit about 4 of them behind the seat. I like this idea.

I'm thinking about RE8's at the momment. Great price tag, small box, and a trusted brand.

But I need some more recomendations before I can decide. Price needs to be resonable, no more than 200 watts RMS, and a sealed box volume smaller than .5 ft^3.

Yeah, I've heard about the RL-i's, but the RMS and price are a little too much if I wante 4 of them. Maybe if I decide to go with only 2 of them it would work.

You do realize that there are several 10" subs that are designed for .5^3 -.6^3 don't you. There is no reason that you should be stuck looking for an 8" if you would rather have a 10" sub.

as far as 8's are in stock now i would do 2 l7 8s and port them if you want loud with some space left over.

For 8s I would only go with dd 8s

Those things are beats.

What's a good wattage range for those RE8's? 150-200 watts?

Actually, now I'm thinking of maybe upgrading to RE10's because the "recommended" enclosure size is .83 ft^3, which is a possibility.
