Ok guys....

What to do?

I have a 12" XXX

I have a Tahoe with 3rd rows.

Im building a ported fiberglass box for behind the 3rd row.

Only 1 12 xxx can fit back there.

I love SQL.

Would i be happier with 2 12" RL-ps? Or should i just get 1 15" RL-p?

I'm leaning toward the 15", incase i decide to ditch the third row, then i could get 2 more 15"s.

What to do?

Are you happy with your switch? Either from RL-p to XXX, or XXX to RL-p?

LET ME KNOW!!!

the XXX. the rl-p is not for SPL but very reccomended for SQL in my listening really. it got loud, but not like what a XXX is known to do. but the XXX is not available if u have yet to buy one. but if u plan on adding subs, the rl-p's would wang.

the rl-p's are pretty much sql subs. although the xxx's are generally slightly louder.

but if you're talking 2 12's vs 1 12, or 1 15 vs 1 12, it's no brainer that the rl-p's will get louder.

Well i'm sure the 2 12s would be louder.

The 15....could b louder, but would the difference warrant the purchase?

I'm leaning oward RL-p because even if i kept the xxx, they just require so much **** space. But i love my baby!

I'll see if i can get a good home 4 it first.

I'de keep it. It's just so hard to part with.
so what are u saying??? Keep the XXX, and get the P 15"s for when i take out the 3rd row?!

Y are u doing this to me! I hink i ust might do that. No need to deal with the hassel of shipping.

thx guys, always helpful

how many of you who say "xxx over rl-p, hands down" have actually owned both subs? people are still getting the idea that rl-p's are only sq subs, but they do get very loud. since you already have an xxx, i would just stick with that. i have owned both subs by the way.

I just played some 30-60hz test tones to my rl-p and OH MY GOD! For those that say the RL-P can't get loud....fvck do you just want to listen to deafing ( did I just make up a word? lol ) music all day? My rl-p gets d@mn loud in my ported box.....by the way I have a Tahoe also
