Ive got a 00 Explorer, Stock headunit, but ive got the amps and the sub to put in. Ive already got aftermarket speakers in there now. I want to hook up the amp and sub. Ive already atained the converter box for putting in speaker wires to turn them into RCA wires. What do i do for the remote wire on the amp???? Where do i hook it to? And no, i dont have power ant.?

LOC? im confused

line out converter is something that goes between your stock HU and the stock HU wiring harness, this will give you a set of RCA's and a remote to run your amp.

My suggestion would be to start by tossing the crunch, see if you can find someone on craigslist to buy it and then get a decent HU to start with.

might have to tap into a switched wire up front, could also do a switch, some LOCs have remote turn on's, most dont

On the fuse panel, look for IGN or something switched on by the ignition, tap it for remote, if you have NO means of controlling it by the HU, or, a small power wire with a small switch, lol.

Lets not make a joke of my junk~ just putting something together to get me by. I was big into in highschool. now im trying to hear some better music. Got the LOC thing now, can i just put the remote wire to any switched device? Even if i attained a better LOC???, is it the same thing? Meaning the way i hook it up if it has the remote wire? Or do they make LOC that power to them~ dont know how the power would switch if it wasnt already?

appreciate it, what about if im running two amps? can i use the same lead to two amps and split it?
