whats in the back a gas tank or tool box or something? .......... I think martin is right about the wedge single sub behind the seat, but i'm different, I would cut that biotch up lol, but since you will be offroading once in a while you wouldn't want to weaken the cab or bed, plus if it's not sealed good you get all kinds of dust inside.

Toolbox right now, it's my daily had it since I was like 15im 27 now lol, and yeah dust is everywhere anyways haha, if I did a cut thru it would be acordian booted and box would be resined and a tonneu cover or bed liner the box, doesn't see any extreme off-road really. Should just do a camper shell with a bunch of cheap *** subs and come through the back window lol

lol that's an option but less amount of quality subs would be better then more of a cheaper sub, airspace and such.

cheapest bet is a wedge behind the seat with the sundown sds. a blowthrough is NOT worth it if your going to use crappy equipment, id only do a blowthrough if i was running atleast 4k rms. other than that i dont think its worth the value the truck looses with a giant hole in the cab and bed

I just hate the fact I can't get it out of my head that it needs a blow through lol, I just don't feel a single or even a pair in a wedge will be enough, it's been awhile since I had subs in anything but when I did I always wanted more than what I had, I know I said I'm more worried about it sounding good, but at the same time I just what it to be stupid for a single cab truck, and even going cheap makes it more fun but I just don't want to go too cheap, I can live with loosing value it's not worth near what I've put in it over the years but I understand the concerns that most have about it. But I'm on the line with a pair of sundown sds in a wedge or a pair of hds300 in a 4th or even 4 hds200 in a4th blow through. It stupid to do I'm sure but you all know how it can be lol

Believe me i know the feeling i have my teuck in my sig and EVERYONE tells me do a blowthrough 2 15"s on 5-7k but thats easily $5k right there. But thats the only way id cut my truck if its worth it. Because cutring it up for aomething crappy just to be disappointed? Nah im staright. My single 12 ported was louder than 2 15"s in a "4th blowthrough" in the same truck. Why? Crappy equipment. A proper blowthrough literally eats up 80% of your bed

Back to buckets and a console I might still know were to get a 12" pioneer tsw5000spl or might be a tsw2000spl not positive it's been 8-10 years since I've seen it but it was massive and the guy still has it last I knew, what do you think about buckets and that in a console?

what is your lifestyle, like work, married or not, kids or not, what time do you have, what kinda money do you have to put into a build, is this a serious hobby or just fun for now, how long do you plan on keeping the truck, ect. . for example me, I am 40, married, have a 20yr old daughter, do not plan on keep our liberty that long so my build for that was mainly due to the old speakers disintegrated and the factory stereo had individual amps on the speakers that had a special plug and wire harness blah blah, needless to say it was a nightmare so I decided it was easier and would sound better to do the whole thing, but since we are planning on getting rid of it soon I didn't want to cut into the dash for a double din, or mount tweets in the pillars ect. since I wanted to transfer the system to the next vehicle, I guess what I am saying is no matter how bad you want to do something all aspects should be considered before you take that leap........ but a cut thru done right would be pretty awesome he he , reminds me of my old mini truck days in the early 90's when everyone had one.
