SUPA and REQ. i was told jigs do that because you cut too fast, or force it throught the wood. slow down ALOT, i know its slow, but should give you a straight cut, works for me

so i'll tell the short story...... great grandparents came off the boat from Japan in the 30's. Grandpa married a white girl. Had my mom (1/2 jap). Mom married the white'est guy on the planet. They had me, the 1/4 jap!!!!!

cheap, eh I wouldn't say cheap. I'd just do something a little nicer. That's all. 1/4 inch MDF and some bondo work and wrap it in vinyl to match the dash. I'd never use cardboard in an install.

MDF would be a smarter idea.

Its cheap,easy, quick and effective
