well my length was 13', and I need 13' per channel, so 13 x 6 = 78! its nuts when you look at first but it makes sense. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gifHow could you possibly need so much RCA cable? lol
Next time go optical. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gifwell my length was 13', and I need 13' per channel, so 13 x 6 = 78! its nuts when you look at first but it makes sense. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif
Yea i pmd after i posted. I asked what exactly he is listening for...You're asking for a biased answer when asking joetama about behringer.
I don't have experience with the behringer unit, but remember, chad mixes live shows and deal with pro audio day in and day out.
and what give Tara labs $500 for a cable with a blinking light //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gifNext time go optical. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

i see optical in the future! but not right now
In other words, why have a 30 band EQ on the tweeter channels? Good question. Some of it is marketing. Some of it (probably) is simplicity of the design. Some of it is flexibility of the system. Ive heard of people running multiple Alpine H701's for very large and elaborate systems consisting of 10+ channels, for example.James, whats the point of a 30band Eq per channel when you will only be usin 10-12 bands per channel per freq range?
i understand Independent EQ is one thing, but it baffles me why they market 30bands...
You want more than an independent 1/3-octave 32 band for every channel AND a multi-band parametric layered on top of that? How could you need more? lolcould be many things. simplicity of design. Just like amps, they can just replicate the channels. Marketing, or maybe compatibility. some may want to run full range, or mix-match channels for different drivers.
I'd personally prefer as many bands as I can get a hold of. For now, I'll have to deal with the 31band per channel the h701 has to offer.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
too bad I can't use the parametric eq simultaneously with the graphic eq.You want more than an independent 1/3-octave 32 band for every channel AND a multi-band parametric layered on top of that? How could you need more? lol
What?too bad I can't use the parametric eq simultaneously with the graphic eq.
correct, from my understanding.What?
Ive yet to run my h701... are you telling me with the graphic/parametric its either/or, not both?
