If you listened to someone with intelligence, you would have heard that the guy swearing him in said it wrong. Obama hesitated to give the guy a chance to correct himself.

i actually don't think he even started too soon. chief justice roberts left a pause so barack started to repeat the words back to him and roberts started talking again. the way i look at it was a double slip-up by roberts and not obama at all.
