How many of you listen to jazz?

i heard some guy, and my friend said that sinatra said he was the new king of jazz...who is that??
Michael Buble?

I have a hard time imagining that would be said about him though. He can sing, but he doesn't write any of his own music.

Dave Matthews Band and i have a "Jazz is Dead" album but i dont even know who its by. I enjoy jazz a lot but i need to find some good stuff to buy...
What kind of jazz do you like? I can offer a few suggestions.

Another fledgling, fleeting jazz fan here. To the irritation of my girlfriend, who gets a bit bored when I subject her to my 'old man music' (Im 29), yes I'll put on the jazz station from time to time. Im no expert or anything as Im not to the point where I can identify songs and artists by ear, I'm much better at that with the blues. I just like the sound of some of it so so every now and then I'll crank it just like I would blues, classic rock, heavy metal, or rap. I don't know about anyone else but I'll say as my system has gotten better I've definitely gotten into the habit of playing music I didn't listen to before that tends to bring out the best (and also reveal what needs fixing) in a good SQ-oriented install.

Not to be racist but... as a young black male if you really ever wanna throw white people for a loop, pull up to a stoplight, roll down the heavily tinted windows, and let them hear you crank the jazz, blues, or, my personal favorites for screwing with people, RAGE, Drowning Pool, Godsmack, or POD. Alot of people are full of shit when they listen to everything. I am not.

Alpine CDA 9886

HZ HSK 165

Infinity Reference rear coaxials

Pioneer Premier 10 inch shallowmount

Eclipse EA4200 bridged to dliever 140 watts/side to front stage

Alpine MRP M500 mono amp.

Now saving up $$$ to get imprint so I can unlock even the little things in my Alpine that everybody else builds into their 350-400$ head units standard. Maybe next time I'll just take that whole 500 bucks and get an Eclipse instead.

dave holland, dave brubeck, john coltrane, charles mingus, dave eshelman, duke ellington, michael brecker, bob berg, sonny rollins, thelonius monk..... just to name a few. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
