I'm Getting Back Into Car Audio (Type R/MTX 311D)!!!

After I bought my 07 Altima, I gave up on sound systems

Its been almost a year and I have come back to the dark side.

Here is what I bought this week from Ebay:

12" Alpine Type R Dual 4ohm

MTX 311d Class D Amp (400 wrms @ 2ohms)

I also have my 1.8 cu ft ported box (tuned to 29hz) that has been sitting in my house for a year collecting dust.

What does everyone think?

if you have room for real simple kicks get a set of m syncs! and a 100x2 or 50x4 amp and call it a day!

I was the same way when i bought my 06.

I told my self i wasnt going to do any type of audio upgrade like my old cars.

yeah right

That lasted about 4 days.

I put a headunit in first ,then waited a week and put subs in.

the tuning seems a bit low...and x many times on the addiction part

I've seen people run more than twice that power on arghs daily, but I understand not pushing the limit...might trigger a relapse!

the MTX really pushes the sub

it gets pretty low...but its a bit sloppy

not recommended for SQ setups.
