Yeah, that one is kinda tricky because it does cover passengers in your car, but also anyone else that is injured as the result of your fault. It is a liability type coverage.

YOur passengers can also be covered by another provision, that pays medical bills regardless of fault. That coverage is sometimes optional and the limits of coverage are usually much less than what you cover in bodily injury.

True story:

I was in a military pickup and pulled up next to a Saudi in a Mercedes. I revved the engine and asked if he wanted to race. To my surprsie, he asked in a thick accent if I wanted to race for the title and laighed. LOL. Then he said, I will win, you have a diesel.
