It might be a little uncomfortable for someone your height...But that box is the maximum a box with a depth of 7~8 would be great for a single cab. And Im running a set of subs with a decent sized mounting depth~6.7 inches. But one thing is for sure, its not a good Idea to run a trapazoid style box where the front face is angled, because then you run into problems with the sub smacking the seat.

Words cant describe, Im getting metered in the near future Ill let yall know, but Im flexing the rear wall and glass a good bit....This disproves anyone that says that single cabs cant get loud

Decent... They will be upgraded in the future as well as the Audiobahn amp. The Type R components have a reputation for harsh tweeters, but with a good X-Over setup and good EQ setup they arent that bad.

cant remember but it was cheap, bought them from best buy. But I had an un godly amount of reward zone points from buying a laptop and TV so I paid next to nothing.

ya your lucky im building a box with a 8 inch mounting depth in an s10 reg cab lol you got a good three or four inches more on me in that truck and im 5'10. so il be rep the single cab to.

holy shit 8 inches in a s10...i have a ranger and im 5' 7" and can barely get a 4inch depth on top lol

its 9 on the bottom and 7 on the top. chevy is the secound biggest reg cab. dakota is the first and ford is the smallest go figure lol jk. i cant decide on 8 on bottom and 7 top or just go with 9BD and 7TD

I actually enjoy building boxes for my truck...For one its more challenging, and two if you build it right you get the "wow I didnt know a single cab could ge this loud" response from everyone who rides in it...but anyways im loading more pics now

wait till you see my worklog(or rather before/after pics) of my single cab chevy install w/ two 10" w3v2s and a 600d in a BADASS custom box

then, when i get my tax returns, gonna take out the center seat and have a custom console with the sub rear-firing. looking at a HIGH-output 10" or 12, ported
