You havent seen anything posted about the titanium failing because it hasnt been on the market that long... Metal fatigues, no matter what alloy it is. It will fatigue if you continue to bend it back and forth. I personally have seen a titanium cone break.

To whoever said TC didnt send us free stuff made us mad. Maybe you should look more in depth at what your saying before posting next time. I've never recieved a free product from anyone, ever. So not sure where you getting that from. I would love to test a TC product, but nobody will send me one, and the 2 I attempted to buy the guy wouldnt even sell them to me. So yea.

On the other hand we have put si mag 12s through hell in testing them, even putting close to 5kw on a pair @ 30 hz and they just kept begging for more and they continue to play to this day. I dont even think SI has had to recone a single driver do to failure, can TC say that?

And ill add a P.S. I have yet to find a more versatile driver than the SI mag, i used them in a spl vehicle @ 70 hz doing a 154, We have had them in a daily driver doing 150s at 30 hz dont know of many drivers than can say that.

I dislike TC for a number of reasons, one of those being the cone.

One strand in 2 weeks... how many strands after a year?

You and t-money are getting butt hurt like you invented this sub youself and I'm insulting it. I never said it was a bad driver, I said I wouldn't want to see that kind of wear after 2 weeks on a speaker I paid $450 for. Maybe his is the only one to do that, who knows? I just know, as a consumer, I wouldn't want such an expensive piece of audio equipment to show that kind of wear so quickly. Especially since my Assassins looked better than that after a year and my db-500s still look brand new after a few months.

Way to show a lack of maturity in your reply, though.

Buffalohed - sorry your thread hasn't gotten off topic. I think you will be happy with any of the options you presented. If it were my money, I'd go with the 5200 since it is the cheapest of the 3 options and will require the least amount of space.
