I just got a 1999 chevy blazer 4 door, and am going to use it as a demo. I have 4 massive audio p1000.1 amps to use for the subs. The enclosure will be 20cuft after port and sub displacment tuned to 30hz. from what some people have said the soundsplinter is a little more sq? I am looking for any input on these 2 subs. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

do not waste your time with 5 cubes per driver ported.

it will have no lowend. trust me.

have installed 2 setups with 2 18" bl's a piece off of 1.5kw of power. the higher freq, are pretty good. NO lowend. i mean you hear it but there is literally NO authority in those notes. suffered the same issue with my 2 x 18" bl's off 1.5kw in 11 cubes.

my 15" btl in 4.5 cubes @ 33hz off 3kw has more lowend than my friends current setup, which is 2 18" bl's in a 12 cube box tuned to 32hz....

I'm sure I haven't heard nearly as many great subs as most of you, but I recently set up an Rl-P15 w/Cadence txa1000d and honestly it is the first time I have ever been totally happy with a subwoofer. It will compete with just about anything I've personally heard as far as SPL goes, but **** this thing sounds CLEAN and LOW. Never heard the other but IME can't go wrong with SoundSplinter RL-P+1,000w.
