I'm a n00b, help me out plz!

Welcome to the audio world man and also the forums. everyone's been in the boat you've been in before little small amount of cash make sure you do your research though on audio speakers , amps , components , coaxials , wire etc...... don't go to places like best buy , circuit city , meijer , walmart kmart for equipment like subs , components , speaker wise but i mean cheap speaker wire always a quick find easy. but man everyone start's out with sh*t serious my first system was a 325watt jensen bass tube that was held in by a 2x4 so it didn't roll around very sad i know but all i could afford at the time , unless mommy and daddy pay for everything u got which i hate stuck up f*ckers like that . but man here i guarntee u will learn alot im still learning today always something new. actually just went to the library today and picked up some audio books i might be getting a DLS amp that my dad's friend said is messed up either fix it or sell it way it is depends:-/.

Honestly, if I were you, I'd save up about 500 bucks to get a sub or two that will be worthwhile. Spending a little extra money on your system will make it sound much, much better. Those Pioneer subs are pretty much crap. Low output, so-so SQ, and 0 lows. You get what you pay for.
If I were you, I'd be patient and wait on another Kicker BOGO on CVRs. $150 for a pair can't be beaten. Also, for a budget amp, go to http://www.profileusa.com, to their online store. Their amps are inexpensive, yet reliable.
Where can I find those Kicker subs you were talking about for $150 a pair?

And http://www.profileusa.com only has one amp for sale online. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Yea, a ghetto rig mayne, lol. But no buying from Best Buy or Circuit City? Where am I supposed to go then?

did your budget change or what not? anyway, those are the prices you can get for on ebay as well. but since you want to go to circuit city and best buy, yes they are cheap compared to them.

Hey, I bought an enclosure and subs today. Honestly just got impatient and saw a pretty good deal on some subs and an enclosure.

Here's the setup:

Xplode 12" 1300 watt sub

http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Product/Item/Main.aspx?g=520&i=158XSL124&tp=111

And an enclosure that barely fits my trunk, but I squeezed it in. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

All with a 2 year warranty. For $220.

Now I need a amp. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Sorry man, but those ****.

I would go with what I have currently.

2 Memphis Street Edge 12's ($100 for both, 200rms)

MA Audio 1889i (ow w/e amp you can find) $90

Wally world wire kit $35

Materials for box ~$20-30

$240 for that, you'd have an amp, box, wire, subs, everything, and I guarantee you mine will blow those outta the water

You must not have read much if you thought those were a good buy...

Sorry to be kicking you down, but should have said something before you splurged.
