im a complete noob, lots of question...

You should run the positive from the bat to the pos on the cap, neg on the bat to neg on the cap, ground the cap. run pos from the cap to a dist block and then to the two amps. run the remote form the HU to the 4 channel and then from the 4 channel to the mono amp do the same for the RCA's. You should have a stock 4ch. amp in the car already, remove this and wire in the RF 4 ch in it's place. Take the Speaker wires that are currently running into the stock 4ch and trace them back if they are not marked and connect them as per the manual for the RF amp. this will keep you from having to run new wires to the doors which can get a little tricky to make it look good and it usually frustrates most newbs.

Hope all this makes sense. If you need a wiring diagram email me and I will make you one. mmr@knology.net

ok sorry to bring this back up again but the system goes in tomarrow. just want to make sure i have this right. the negative from the battery goes to negative on cap then gets grouned. so there is no wire from neg on cap to neg on amp. then on the amp theres a wire from ground on amp to well, a ground... so there will be 2 grounds (im only installing the sub right now so there will be no mid amp)

This should be right, correct? thanks guys.

or...

can i run negative from the battery and negative from the amp both to the cap and just ground off the cap? if that works its only 1 ground instead of 2...

Step 1: Lose the cap. Do Big Three!

Step 2: Get someone who knows what they are doing to do the install before you ruin your equipment.

Step 3: After they install it, check out what they did, and learn from there. I had my first system professionally installed, and checked out their work. After that, i have always done my own installs. And, to this day (knock on wood), no problems. Good luck!

I didnt mean negative on amp i ment ground on amp.

Well cap is gone. im just gunna sell it like what was suggested a million times before.

i only have one W6 right now so im going to see how it performs without the B3. if i have to ill run get some 0AWG and get movin.

I had a buddy install the 3 12s i had in my first truck. i watched him very close and he had me doing a lot just to get hands on. my cousin was over last night helping me run all the lines. then he left so i hooked everything up myself. im pretty confident without the cap. i mean its pretty **** straight forward when your talking just a sub and amp. i was just getting confused with the cap.

thanks for not flamming guys. you have been real helpfull!
