ike sound store?

hello i am new to this car stereo thing and was wondering about ike sound (yes ive done a search) and their products, are they used or new because i live in miami and i can go to their office in hallandale but i was wondering about your views about that place first.

p.s.

I was thinking about buying this head unit Pioneer DEH-P480MP is it any good, i am looking to spend about 150 or less

they are refurbished, which means that they were damaged in some way during shipment or something, and then returned. then they were made nice again haha and now ike is selling them for cheap. atleast i think this is what they are, correct me if i am wrong

i have had 2 transactions with them, all of them have ended horribly, i would not recomend them , and if you do get one of there products, dont expect to keep itr for more than a few months because there refurbs are crap. I highy do NOT recomend

i've heard mixed reviews about that place. seems like half of the refurb products they sell end up dying or ****ing up, whereas other people have had not a single problem. it's basically a hit or miss kinda situation.

Never again will I purchase anything from Ike Sound. I emailed them because one of my component mid woofers were messed up. I have to send the whole set back to have it replaced, pay $35 because they're supposidly not responsibly for ANY shipping (them to manufacture and shipping back to me), plus I have to pay the fee to ship to them (on top of the $35). I was fuming. I don't even know if it's worth it. I paid them like $82 + $22 shipping originally for the components. Supposidly, they don't have an office. Email them and find out what they say though... I'm quite curious.

three flawless sales for me with ikesound, including nearly a grand worth of stuff at one time. all items arrived in perfect condition within 3 business days. also had excellent responses to all of my emils. i am a happy ikesound customer. pm me for any details.

i have had 4 dealings with them all for refurbished goods.

havent had a single problem with any of them except the directed amp and i killed that myself.

they all were in pretty nice shape cosmetically.
