Its only a cat2 at the moment, but the storm surge is huge. they're saying anywhere from 10-22ft.I don't know anyone that lives there but I has servers in Houston //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
With it being a Cat 2 does that not mean it's kind of weak?
Assuming your servers are in a good DC, you shouldn't have anything to worry about.I don't know anyone that lives there but I has servers in Houston //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Yeah I am not worried about a Cat 2 these guys deal with them pretty well and are pretty good as far as being prepared. However if it were to get to a Cat 5 or so I would be a bit more worried.Assuming your servers are in a good DC, you shouldn't have anything to worry about.
Late last night they were saying that Galveston would more than likely be flooded by 22 feet of water.last i checked it was weakening. The surface winds were at around 89-93 mph with very warm water temps...I dont think its going to be as bad as everyone is making it drawn out to be. my $0.02
