Ive just tried to re-install a head unit into an old Golf that hasnt been driven much in the past couple of years.
Everything seemed to be fine til i started the car and the stereo turned off.
Its works fine once the key goes in but once the key is turned to the final postion before actually starting it all goes off. I checked the wire, its the right one according to the manual and on testing the other wires none of them appear to be an ignition wire.
Any suggestion on what could be wrong or where i could tap into for the power?
