Iginition Wires not getting power

Ok, so help me brainstorm here for a second please.

I'm attempting to wire my own remote starter for my car.

All went well (although frustrating) for a while.

Now my ignition wires aren't getting any power and when I check the fuses (ALL OF THEM) none are blown...although the ignition fuses aren't getting power either...I'm assuming that may be normal, up until you crank the key?

Ultimately this is getting to be more trouble than it's worth...but I don't see many alternatives as my car won't start. And in the end I'll have learned something I'm sure.

...but ultimately I'm stuck in a rut right now and I need some ideas to get me moving, so please swing away.

Thanks,

Sam

I mean it has to be some sort of fuse or relay...or my father mentioned something about fusible links...but I'm not sure where they would be.

I really would love some help here...just anything to get the mental juices flowing.

Brainstorm with me please.

thanks!

ok well the most important is make / model / and year of vehicle

and model of the remote start sound like the ing output is either not correctly wired or there is a fault within the remote start basically we need more info

did you wire in the starter kill relay that was supplied w/ alarm

my bad my bad...rookie mistake.

It's a Toyota Camry 05.

And although the remote start is a Viper 4103xv, I've troubleshot it out of the problem. We're down to the simple ignition wires not getting power...nor their fuses.

@Brandi, I grasp the general process...but it's kind of hard to follow the wires in a car without taking the entire car apart. But granted...it may come down to that. >.>

ok so the car starts now and everything (except radio) is functioning properly? in other words the grey wire in the radio harness is the only wire w/o power

and that's what schematics are for //well schematics and knowledgeable installers

I don't think I've been as clear as I should. The radio works fine...my car won't turn over. The ignition and starter wires are not getting power. I hope I've been a little more clear now.

If the radio didn't work...I'd be able to figure that one out...had the problem a little bit ago...simple fuse.

However the ignition fuses are just fine. The car starts up, but the engine won't turn...like it was out of batter (because the ignition/starter fuses aren't getting power).

EDIT: And unless I'm doing something wrong (wouldn't be the first), I can't seem to find the wiring schematics...at least not online...best I got was this diagram:

sounds more like an immobilizer issue

did you disturb any of the can bus wires (small brn and yellow wires) or the data bus wire (grn/white and blue/yellow)

I don't believe so.

The wires had power and the engine turned fine yesterday...however I had them somewhat of what I would call Jerry Rig spliced (was for a proof of concept)...when the Jerry Rig failed, and my car wouldn't start...I properly spliced them, however now it won't start at all, and again those wires aren't getting any power.

...I'll run and make sure those wires were undisturbed though...there was a couple wires there were definitely hit/miss:

Nope, the only wires I missed on were a blue/red, and a red/blue wire. And that was because my heating element wire was miss colored (for whatever reason).

...unless I managed to probe those wires with my circuit tester...I haven't hacked any others than those two (at least that didn't turn out to be a hit).

BTW I do appreciate your time, thanks. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

EDIT:

And I admittadly don't know enough about jack squat to know what an immobilizer is. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif What is it? in lame man's terms please.
