Well I am on the search for a amp to power a RE SRi-D2(RMS: 300 watts) and after searching I have come to the decision between these 2 amplifiers. They are actually pretty fairly priced for my daily driver build. That is about my budget for an amplifier right now ($60 or so).

I think either one will be good for my budget build.

The Autotek, only because ive used their smaller 2 channel like that model before with good results. Is either amp stellar?...no but between the two i say Autotek.

I called Sonic Electronix and they kept telling me to get something else besides either of these amps.

They said both are overrated on the RMS scale and I had to find a amp that was CEA Compliant.

Also they said that the Crunch amp goes into Protect mode for no reason alot, but the rep had no answer why

it would go into protect mode. He just kept trying to get me to buy higher dollar amps and CEA Compliant amps.

Are they trying to just up sell me to something else?

That my friend, is how salesmen make money

they are made by the same company and they both are kinda ghey. but autotek is supposed to be a little better built than crunch but who knows? i say the autotek because nothing crunch produced ever impressed me , including the few zed made crunches

My 150w rated ZED Crunch puts out 330w @ 4ohm, if that doesn't impress you then you have a vagina. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
