if you had this trunk and two 15 inch L5s what would you do...

can anyone design me a ported box that will fit in my trunk that would be good?

Actually have to be two separate boxes because my trunk lid isn't big enough to fit 1 big box in.

Wanting it tuned to 35 for daily and 50 hz for comp. Wouldn't that be the best tuning you think?

Well if that current space in between your box (make a new box though) is just empty space, then there is room for your port. 6cu @ 32hz or w/e you want to do.
yeah that is empty space. My setup is not actually like that now. I actually turned my subs around and they are facing fowards now. And the boxes are together instead of having the space in between.

So you think I have room?

Would 3 cubic feet be big enough per sub?

thing is though, with my subs facing fowards they take up the entire width of my trunk. There would not be room for a port. Unless I put the subs farther back in my trunk where it is 40 inches wide.

My boxes now are not square they are odd shaped. Can you do that with a ported box?

If someone could really work with me on this I would greatly appreciate it.

Well- I was thinking. You tell me this stuff in yellow:

And I could design a box like this for ya:

Problem is- after I guessed at dimensions (which were horrible guess now that I look back) I can't build a big enough box.

thanks relaxed. That is kinda what i had in mind. I drew a sketch down on paper. I will try to scan and upload it sometime. Kinda give you an idea of what I did on my idea.

Had part of the box 40 inches wide (external) where the subs went (on the part of my trunk that is 40 inches), then went back until i reached the part of my trunk that got wider and made the box 50 inches wide. Subs and port of course facing toward the front.

Alright here is some more measurements.

Here is kinda what I have in mind. I figure this is the best way I am going to get. Top picture is top view. Then the box is 16 inches tall.

Wanting 35 hz for daily and 50 hz for comp.

3 cubes should be sufficient.
How many cubes would mine be if I made it just like my design above. After driver displacemenet, and the ports. Then of course the 3/4 " MDF board. I know you probably wont be able to tell me exactly because you wont know where the ports will be but give me a estimate.

Now I just need someone to design me a box.

We are going to try to build it inside the box. Any suggestions on doing this? Never attempted it before.
