See I would say the 9918 or 9915, but Ive heard the 9515 has almost the same potential, and can also be used in SQ, or SQL setups, where as the 99's cant.....

But those of you saying the parthenon....isnt that just a motor....has there been a sub actually made using that yet??? If so...Links please..!!

The parthenon is meant to be mated with any size cone up to a 48x48 square, just like the XMX...

I have 2 9915s...they are ok. They handle the power (8.8kW rms) better than the 4 L7 12s did. (both have the same combined rms rating - 3kW rms) The L7s sounded a WHOOOLE lot better.

Now the 99z is a WHOOLE different ballgame....mucho mucho loud with a little box work..
