if i had an automobile idw15's (altho matt b. has said that idq15's will sound almost the same IB). for my suv couple of lotus' would be nice as well as some dayton rs, ava12 and i've lately had an arc flatline boner

in mine the idq didnt have the smooth low end hump (20-30 hz) and didnt roll off higher as smoothly as the idw you could tell the difference pretty easy. the idq was also "punchier" which lends itself to sound like a speaker. my box was 10+cube flat in the back end of a firebird (body panels were the speaker box walls) eric stevens knew that car well. not saying the idq is bad just saying if you plan on "doing ib" or want to mess with a different kind of woofer the idw is worth searching for.

Due to that I came to the incorrect conclusiont here were more around than there really are, so I let the deal pass me by. Ive not aseen another deal on any since. lol ugh

Works well with 500 watts or 1500 watts

Works well in small sealed or any ported

SQ is the same whether you are giving it 10 watts or 1500 watts.

Gets plenty loud for normal people
