But come on, that cant be the 1 you would choose overall...unless its for SQ
Type R...hands down
They are not in production anymore. They were done away with when the IDMax was released (unless you are a very special person).I cant really even find any info on that IDW 15....is it just a really good SQ driver or something...does it have any special technology like the almighty XBL^2 for SQ
I dunno the pricing on that thing, but im gonna guess its not to expensive...in saying that...why doesnt he have it...?

Yes, it is a really good SQ driver. Many people consider them to be the best SQ driver for car audio. They also have the ability to get reasonably loud (audiolife has told me his old firebird did 149db with two IDW15's....this was on older mics, so lets say low 140's by todays standards).
And they were reasonably expensive. MSRP was around $400 for a 15" IIRC. But, since they are so liked yet in such high demand currently (everybody wants one, but those who do have them don't sell them because they like them too much), it is nearly impossible to find one for sale unless you basically give ****** favors to the right people.
i know for a fact that sub would not get that loud in that car. type r man because i want to pick up chicks.
