You make a good point, however, i would like to believe that knowledge is power. I have two definitions for faith. The first would be belief in someone i trust or hold dear (family, friends) the second would be strong belief in something without proof/ evidence "blind faith". I would hope the if god indeed existed, he would allow me to put him into the first catagory. I know people have said that though personal trials they have experienced god; however, this is often accomplished through logic such as i"if god didn't exist, why would this have happened etc" I feel that it is better to know than to believe. That is my opinion and until god reveals himself to me in a manner which i accept, i will remain agnostic.
